The Pucan takes its name from a class of Galway Hooker boat one of which has been beautifully restored and integrated into the pub as both a seating area and a stage for live music. The Pucan is very popular with tourists keen to soak up some Irish pub culture. The bar is also very popular with native Irish speakers from around the County.
