Central Park (CP) is undoubtedly one of Galway's busiest entertainment venues. Open for over 20 years it has managed to stay fresh year after year and has been refitted many times with the most recent in 2010. The crowd is mostly in their early twenties and well dressed especially at the weekend. Central Park is as big as it gets in Galway with 2 dancefloors, 7 bars and accommodating over 1000 people. The music is strictly commercial with current chart hits and some oldies thrown in. It gets especially busy at the weekends when there are queues from 11pm onwards.
If you are young and on the pull, then a visit to CP might be worth your while.
