Renamed August 2008
Twirley's Showbar opened it's doors in January 2008 billing itself as the most exclusive Gay venue in the West of Ireland. Run by local entrepreneur and former Miss alternative Galway Eamonn Cunniss who some people might remember from his appearance on Eddie Hobb's tv show. However in July 2008 Twirleys was renamed LA Club and Eamonn left the business suddenly. However all is not lost as he promises to re-open before the end of 2008 in another venue.
