Monday is the start of a new week and Galway City starts as it means to go on. As well as one off events there are a couple of residencies which are always worth checking out if you are around.
Top of our list is the Monday Night residency of The Black Magic band at Bar 903. Comprising of a 17 piece band plus vocalists- they have been playing at Bar 903 since 2000. Swing dancers from around Galway flock here every Monday night so even if you can't dance you can watch people doing it. Usually they start around 10pm and there is a small cover charge. If you don't feel like going home when they are finished there is more music afterwards until 2am.
