This popular late opening bar was part of the Cuba Nightclub and Live venue. It took its name from the fact Galway City is 9 degrees 3 minutes west of the Prime meridian (Greenwich). The premises was extremely popular with generations of students in this incarnation and previously as Bar Cuba. Everyone had their own favourite night at this venue but Monday night when The Black Magic band was one of the longest running and most successful.

 The premises is now called McGettigans (2016)
